Getting ready
Two places to get ready, apart from each other and apart from the guests. The bridal preparation cottage and the groom’s gathering area are both included, and twelve hours on the estate means the morning is yours.
The ceremony
Up to 200 guests seated outdoors among the gardens, the gazebos and the open lawn. Flexible event layout options let you set the ceremony where the light and the season are best, and the team plans it with you.
The reception
Indoor and outdoor reception setups are both possible: a tented reception beneath the stars, dinner under the trees, outdoor seating and relaxation areas for the guests who wander, and room for a dance floor as the evening turns.
The vendors
A large wedding has a large crew. Extended vendor setup and breakdown access gives your caterer, florist, rental company and band the time they need on either side of the day, and guest parking accommodations keep two hundred arrivals calm.

Bell Haven is a family-owned, single-event wedding venue in Dayton, Tennessee. We host one wedding a day, so on your date the entire property — the gardens, the fountains, the koi pond, the cottage cabins and the open-air spaces — is reserved exclusively for you and your guests.

Dayton sits in the Tennessee Valley, under an hour north of Chattanooga, which makes Bell Haven a destination wedding venue that out-of-town guests can reach in an afternoon. The cabins on the estate let part of the wedding party stay on the property; ask about lodging when you inquire and we will walk you through what is available on your date.

A typical day opens the bridal cottage and the groom’s area in the late morning, gathers guests for a late-afternoon ceremony in the best light, moves through a cocktail hour on the lawn or by the pond, and settles into dinner and dancing as the evening cools. We work closely with every couple on backup plans and alternative options so the day remains beautiful no matter what Mother Nature has in store.
