Because we host only one wedding a day, an intimate wedding here never feels like the small room at a big venue. The whole property is yours for eight hours.

The setting
Bell Haven is a family-owned estate in Dayton, Tennessee, in the Tennessee Valley under an hour north of Chattanooga. The property has been thoughtfully transformed with garden walkways, gazebos, flowing fountains, a koi pond and open-air spaces designed to feel romantic and intentional while keeping the natural charm that made our family fall in love with it. Several cottage cabins sit on the grounds, so part of your wedding party can stay on the estate.
How the eight hours tend to flow
Most couples open the bridal suite in the early afternoon, hold the ceremony in the late afternoon when the light is softest, and move into the reception as the evening settles. With a sixty-person guest list the day keeps its shape without a strict schedule, and our Venue & Wedding Coordinator helps you place each part of it — ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing — in the space that suits it best.
Vendors and the details
You are welcome to bring your own caterer, florist, photographer and officiant, or ask us for recommendations for trusted local professionals. We discuss a backup plan for weather with every couple so your day stays beautiful no matter what the forecast does, and in many cases pets are welcome to be part of the celebration.
